On June 10th, 2011 – Mall of America and the Minnesota Chapter of InfraGard Presented:
We heard from Jarret Brachman, internationally recognized counterterrorism specialist, author and public lecturer. We also heard from Social Media Experts in a case study approach to analyze real crisis to see how social media changes crisis communication while exploring the changing nature of human response in crisis, and what organizations need to know to strategically employ and observe social media during these events.
Our featured speaker, Gordon Graham, nationally recognized expert on risk management, whose work has had tremendous impact on the risk management effectiveness of law enforcement operations and private sector companies around the county was unable to attend in June 2011. We are bringing him back on January 16th, 2013 for a 2 hour presentation on “Why Things Go Right – Why Things Go Wrong”.
Why Things Go Right – Why Things Go Wrong – Most of what the good people in your organization do, they are doing right. When things don’t go right there is the potential for nasty consequences. In this brief program, Gordon will show you what the potential consequences are–and what are the causational factors most often responsible for these consequences. He will then give you some proven strategies and tactics to address these problems–including a full understanding of the risk/frequency matrix and where it is essential to focus your initial and ongoing training efforts.
This event is FREE and being offered to the attendees that signed up for the Terrorism, Social Media & You event in June 2011. Sign up now, on December 1st we will be opening this event up to the public.
We look forward to seeing you again.
